JOB TITLE:                                        Central Valley Operator Sales Rep
REPORTS TO:                                    Sales Supervisor 
PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE:               Increase Sales through Direct Operator Sales 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Operations:

• Establish positive relationship with all key customers in your scope of Responsibility.
• Make Operator calls and close sales on behalf of the Principals that we represent.
• Should average 4 calls per day, 6 Presentations per call.
• Must be prepared for calls with samples, POS and Dist. Information.
• Calls should be focused on Key Accounts with high volume opportunities.
• Needs to have contact and good relationship with DSR who sells accounts.
• Needs to participate in weekly DSM meetings for your Distributors in you area.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with BBC Distributor team members.

Administrative:

• Input all Operator calls made into FoodMark, our in house sales tracking program. This is to be done on all calls on a daily basis.
• All assigned leads are to be contacted within 48 hrs and closed within 2 weeks.
• Maintain and update all Customer Profiles in FoodMark for your assigned territory.
• Must be capable to set specific targets for sales of products as requested by our principals. We must also follow up in the allotted time to call on and close these Accounts.

·        Must complete assigned monthly call budget. This is a minimum requirement of calls that must be made on behalf of the Manufacturers that we represent.

• Need to complete monthly objectives as assigned by the Sales Supervisor. These will be made up of specific call targets, push items, and targets that you have submitted to be completed in a timely manor.

 Special Projects:

• Performs special assignments and reports as directed by the Sales Supervisor.
• Participation in food shows that will sometimes require an overnight stay.
• Participation in sales meetings that will sometimes require an overnight stay.

 Requirements:
